What if my domain is taken?
- We will check on the first call and suggest alternatives.
- A slightly longer name with your town in it often works better anyway.
Can I use a domain I already own?
- Yes. We point it at the new site.
- You keep it where it is or move it to us — your choice.
Who owns the domain?
- You do.
- It is registered in your name, not ours.
What happens to my domain if I leave?
- It stays yours.
- We release it so you can point it wherever you like.
Should the domain have my town in it?
- It can help people recognise you, and it reads well in a search result.
- It is not a ranking trick on its own — the content of the page matters more.
- We will suggest a few options on the first call.
How long does the domain take to work?
- A new domain is usually live within a few hours.
- Moving an existing one can take up to 48 hours to settle.
What happens when the free year is up?
- The domain renews at cost as part of your package.
- There is no separate bill for it.
Can I have more than one domain?
- Yes. Extra domains can point at the same site.
- Ask us and we will tell you whether it is worth it for your trade.
Is .co.uk or .com better?
- .co.uk signals a UK business, which helps for local trade.
- .com suits you if you sell beyond the UK.
- Both are included at no extra cost.
Do you provide email hosting?
- No. We build and host websites, not email.
- Your domain works with any email provider you choose — Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 are the usual ones.
- We will point the records at whichever you pick.
