This notice explains what FTV London Ltd, trading as BizPad ("we", "us", "our") does with personal data. We are the data
controller for the information described here.
1. WHAT WE COLLECT
When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, and — if you
give them — your email address, business name and town, along with anything you
write in the message box.
When you buy a package we collect your name, billing address, email address and
phone number. Card details are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.
When you simply visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical
information such as your IP address and browser type in its server logs.
2. WHY WE USE IT, AND OUR LAWFUL BASIS
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, call you back. Our lawful basis
is legitimate interests: you contacted us and expect a reply.
- To provide the service you bought, including building and hosting your site.
Our lawful basis is performance of a contract.
- To keep accounting records. Our lawful basis is a legal obligation.
- To keep the site secure and working. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
We do not send marketing emails to people who have only made an enquiry, and we
do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
3. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
- Stripe, which processes payments on our behalf.
- SMTP2GO, which delivers our email.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
Each acts under contract and may only use the data to provide that service to us.
Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards apply.
4. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Enquiries that do not become customers are kept for up to 24 months and then
deleted. Customer and accounting records are kept for seven years, as tax law
requires. Server logs are kept for a short period.
5. YOUR RIGHTS
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold
about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in some
circumstances, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive certain data
in a portable form. Where we rely on legitimate interests you may object at any
time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the footer of
this website. We will respond within one month.
6. COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
7. AUTOMATED DECISIONS
We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.
